♦ Establishment

In 1965, “Chien-kuo Junior Commericial College” was established and the founder was Chi-Hsien Ma. Later, the famous textile machinery entrepreneur, Lien-Hsing Wu took over chairman of the board of trustees in 1974.

♦Reorganization

•Established Junior College – In 1974, “Chienkuo Junior College of Technology” was established and Lien-Hsing Wu became chairman of the board of trustees.

•Rename – became Chien-kuo Industrial and Junior College in 1992.

•Reorganization – became Chien-kuo Institution of Technology in 1999.

•Rename – became Chien-kuo University of Technology in 2004.
